True black and wonderfully consistent throughout her super fine fleece at 16.4 microns, Las Bonitas' Avanti's Onyx Princess has exceptional conformation with a show-stopping presence and presents a lovely, feminine phenotype, crowned by a very pretty head.
Onyx's dam, Sunny Mesa's Reilly II, is a color champion in halter, and imparts her lingering fineness to her offspring. Reilly tested a very fine 17.3 microns at 4 years of age, and was awarded a blue ribbon for fleece at 5 years old. Reilly, also true black, has a strong gray presence in her background via her dark rose gray grand sire, Royal Peruvian Challenger.
Onyx Princess' sire, the light fawn Royal Peruvian Avanti, is the golden cross of Accoyo and highly-select Alianza bloodlines. Grandson of the legendary Peruvian White Out and Accoyo Royal Fawn, he proves to be a sound genetic out-cross.
Onyx Princess is a fabulous producer of stunning, fine offspring in brilliant color. Onyx gave birth to a TrueHeart's Peruvian Valor female, Felicia. Color Champion TrueHeart's Peruvian Valor, the powerfully built, Eastwind Snowstorm son, has also produced a champion male for us. Felicia is fawn, phenotypically feminine, incredibly bright, and covered in dense fleece with loads of crimp from her topknot to her tail. She is stunning.
